in less than 12 hrs' time, 2007 is coming to an end....
2007 has been a happening time for mi..... ups & downs..... even went thru the darkest moments of my life..... lost a relationship & my dad..... but wat i gained was somehow extraordinary... the essence of friendships, companionships.... opened my eyes to see the far-stretched horizon tt lies in front of mi......
ended my 2-yrs NS, started off being an IT-trainer in Mastereign, buzzed off with my degree course in SIM in oct........ in these times, i made alot of frenz around in Mastereign, in SIM.... thank God for wat He had done so far.... =)
still, the darkest moment of my life would be the loss of my beloved father in 25th Aug...... i can still remembered how much i suffered during those times.... but as a family, we managed to pull thru together no matter how much we endured....... again, thank God for the strength & grace He had given to my family to be able to stand firm in our situations.......
Dad, although u r physically not around wif us, but ur spirit will live on
to the fullest in our hearts.... i hav learnt alot of things from u..... to be
generous & humble to people around us.... i had nv blamed u for
anything during the times when u were in vietnam for 15 yrs, but i seen ur
determination & endurance in ur business... one day, i shall be like u....
believe in myself, persevere & make my dreams come true....
love u, dad!
yesterday, pastor leng was talking abt forgetting the former past & move on... & i guess this message has brought us clearly to our minds tt we should be moving forward to the new yr ahead.... not to look back & set new goals......
thank God for the gracious 2007...... a new yr is a new beginning once again in our lives..... =)

"Treasure Hunter" Nicholas Cage did it again......!! once again, Gates is our treasure hunter of the year, cracking another history-making affairs in National Treasure: Book of Secrets..... i've been waiting for this sequel to be released & there i had it!!
the assassination of president lincoln was brought into the movie, evolved the conspiracy between Gates' ancestor... 18 missing pages from the Booth's diary sparked off the greatest adventure of all year.... this time, the clues are everywhere.... around the world.... from the statue of liberty in paris & ended up at mount rushmore to the secret golden city..... the breaking-in of buckingham palace to the kidnap of the US president...... well, who would come out wif an idea of kidnapping the president???? JFK's conspiracy was brought up during the movie & the President's book........ its kinda bring myself to reality.... does the president's book exists now? if it exists, wat makes it so secretive that it is to be read by the eyes of the presidents?
this sequel was so much better than the lst one...... i guess its even better than playing the amazing race..... one clue lead to another.... worldwide treasure hunt yea?
jerry bruckheimer had nv failed to surprise us wif so much action-thrilled events since the Transformers movie.... the mystery is finally being revealed!

i juz felt my holidays is kinda short for mi... 3 weeks of relaxation after 2 months of torturous work in sch.... its juz not enough of moi!! anyway, will try to enjoy as much as i can for now....
the 3-day workshop by Mastereign took up alot of time this week..... but i had learnt so much in this course..... reflecting upon my past attitudes of being an IT trainer & brought it up in this course helps mi to realise there's so much thing i can improve on.... mainly in my way of presentation, how do i deliver well in trainings, how to make my lesson alive....... etc.....
thank God for having yvonne as our speaker..... a great honour to have her to share her experiences to us in the classroom....
most impt, on the last day of the workshop, suzzane teng, an image consultant came down to deliver her presentation on how to make the ordinary "extraordinary"...... in which it helps mi far alot to point out the wardrobe malfunctions...... wat to wear & wat not to wear..... colours to match, choosing the correct sizes.... matching the different kinds of ties, socks, shoes, specs..... etc..... she even analyzed our face shape & identify wat kind of shape we look like.....
guess wat she told mi.??????
she said, "i hav a obong (squarish but rather round) face which shares the same shape as brad pitt!!"
i was like..... WOW! my heart melted fast..... hehehehe.......... =)
anyway, wonderful time at the workshop.... made new people.... enjoyed the interactions among trainers from other areas....fun times we had too!

Exams are finally over.... my well-deserved break has juz started..... !! i do think i really need a long break for this month..... kinda got very tired of assignments, muggings & exam preparations..... well, there goes our lst sem of our course..... i really do hope tt i pass the modules b4 getting into the next semester......
went to watch "Alvin and the chipmunks" wif jiaqian & wenda..... it kinda sparked my childhood memories watching the cartoon on weekdays afternoon...... when i was a kid, i wanna be alvin cos he's the big "chipmunk" of the trio....simon, the smart one... theredore, the greedy but innocent one..... i din expect a movie like wat i saw today...... well, it seems tt everyone like theredore more than alvin because it's cute!!!! hahahaha...... after all, its the voices of the chipmunks tt brought out the laughters in the cinema...... i really think the makers had made a great accomplishment in maing this movie.......
guys, u might wanna take ur time off to watch this movie..... worth the money for weekend tickets.....

well, u might be wondering abt mi watching this movie at this point of time.... u should know why when i kept complaining abt my overwhelming loads of assignments.... anyway, i juz finally cleared all my assignments since yesterday & movie treat sounds like a gd reward to mi for all my late night sleeps & the 'ultra-high' level of stress for the past few days.....
went to watch at the Cathay wif jiaqian & wenda.... sounds kinda weird to have 2 guys & a gal watching a R21 show..... but i've been wanting to watch lust caution for a long time.....
the storyline was terrific & the captivating moments of each actors/actresses seems to be quite unique..... no one would ever know tt tony leung is still alive at the end of the show, while i was expecting a different kind of ending..... i juz felt tt the sex scenes were too overwhelming..... i guess they kinda overdone it too much..... not mentioning to be 'violent'... u guys know wat im saying yea? wenda was memerising abt lee hom whenever he appeared in the movie....... stop dreaming, wenda... *slap..... hahaha........
well, gona go sch to print some notes to prepare for my exams..... i still havent get my own bday present..... *sob

today is the 100th day since my dad passed away 3 months ago... juz came back from the columbarian to pay respects to him... again, seeing his niche sunk my heart into sorrows, but at least i know on the 100th day, he has found eternal peace in heaven... the testimony of finding the right niche for him still kept clearly in my mind... so hard to forget..... perhaps this is the only moment i will ever remember....
